I'm so delighted to be working with The Refectory Table this summer to bring a more focused and intimate workshop for folk looking for new creative skills both in the kitchen and garden. This day long workshop will focus on taking taste further, by combining my meringue recipe with edible, seasonal blooms, fruits and herbs. We'll also cover edible flower foraging, how to use your yolks, adding colour to meringue and creating simple yet beautiful desserts for all occasions. There will of course be plenty of edible delights to sample throughout the day too, afternoon tea anyone?!
Whether you're looking to make your own wedding favours, want to pick up new creative skills in the kitchen or learn how to creatively and safely incorporate edible flowers into your baking, this will make for a brilliant course in a relaxed, friendly and creative environment.
For more info on how to book your place head over to the Refectory Table's eventbrite page. You'll also find details of all the other courses The refectory Table has to offer, all hosted by designer makers, artists & creatives. I can personally vouch for the brilliance of The Refectory Table, having attended two of their brilliant courses last year, Helen Rhodes' Plants and Pattern workshop (You can read my review of our day over here) and Pete Mosley's The Art of Shouting Quietly.
The event will be held at The Refectory Table in Loughborough on the 1st of July, spaces are limited so do book early!
